Student Advisory for Fall Engagement (SAFE) Committee
About
The Student Advisory for Full Engagement (SAFE), established in 2001, is a group of undergraduate and graduate representatives from the Department of Chemistry who work in conjunction with the department’s Collective Excellence committee.
The SAFE Committee’s goal is to involve student voices in departmental decision-making. The Committee places particular emphasis on cultivating and highlighting the full engagement of a richly diverse chemistry community. We seek to establish common ground and facilitate communication between faculty, staff, and students in order to promote growth and cultural excellence within Emory Chemistry.
SAFE holds regular community meetings advertised via the Department of Chemistry calendar and email digests.
